A grand Antique Edwardian snake ring depicting two entwined serpents coiled together and bezel set with two bright sparkling Brilliant cut Diamonds crowned on each head (approx. 0.08ct each).
Serpent jewellery became popular in the Victorian era after Prince Albert gifted the young queen Victoria with a serpent ring during their courtship. Two entwined snakes then came to represent loyalty, friendship and eternal love.
The piece is fashioned in solid 18ct Yellow Gold and is a spectacular statement piece with a lovely sentiment.
